Mike and the team just completed a renovation on our dormer and we couldn’t be happier with the result. The works were done to an incredibly high standard and they were great to work with all the way through. From initial advice and pricing through to early progress on the works and decisions to be made Mike was clear and ensured everything was understood and agreed together. They were hugely considerate when working in our home and really helped make the chaos of building work not feel imposing. Would highly recommend them.

Mike and his team built a fantastic loft extension for me. The whole process, from start to finish was made as easy as it could be because the team was so great. They were reliable, always turned up when they said they would, and all communication was great. Mike is super-responsive, and any issues were sorted straight away and with no fuss. The quality of the build is lovely, and the end result exceeds my expectations. They are also really nice blokes and a pleasure to have around. I’d use them again for any building work and highly recommend them.

Loft extension and en-suite bathroomWork was carried out professionally from the first initial meeting. Michael gave us lots of advice and was happy to answer numerous questions via text. The team were always on time and any change ie the plasterer coming was always communicated before. The new room is fabulous and Michael always checked we were happy before the next stage.

Installed downstairs cloakroomNew cloakroom installed in a space downstairs. We were kept updated throughout the process, from arranging start time to different trades coming and Michael checked we were happy with progress regularly. He was also able to incorporate small changes to the requested work with no problems. We were happy to leave him with a key so that he could work without being reliant on someone being around. Very happy with the end result and we would definitely recommend his work.

Complete refurbishment of 3 bed houseMike Kayley was commissioned to undertake the refurbishment of a 3 bedroom house in Fareham. This included moving walls with RSJ installations, installing new double glazing and doors throughout, all carpentry (new kitchen, staircase, skirtings, door liners, doors and architrave. Mike additionally coordinated the supporting trades (plaster, plumber electrician) to ensure the whole project was completed within a very tight timeline. MAK carpentry ensured that not only was the project completed in a short timeframe but that the standard of workmanship throughout the entire project was excellent.

Roof repairs and skilled carpentryMike came to the rescue when my mother-in-laws conservatory was flooded after heavy rain due to poor workmanship in the past. He responded quickly and repaired all the damage. The reason I called Mike is because I know he is reliable and his workmanship is excellent as he has completed several jobs for me including building excellent quality wardrobes, as well as insulating my kitchen and putting a wall back in which had been knocked out incorrectly by previous builders. The lesson learnt is call Mike in the first place so I would get the job done to excellent quality the first time around!

Kitchen replacementRemoval of old kitchen and complete replacement of fitted kitchen. Work was completed with efficiency and high standards of tidiness. The new kitchen was fitted perfectly with great attention to detail and was done within the required very tight timeframe. This was a particularly difficult job due to the style and age of the property and a timeframe of only a couple of days. The job was completed on time and to a very high standard.

Done a huge job for me on my garage conversion The job was complicated and tricky and he handled it perfectly He bricked up our front window and garage door immaculately and made good in damaged areas. He built lots of stud walls to divide the area in to rooms and plaster boarded everything and even arranged the relevant trades to enable the job was done correctly. I look forward to having Michael back for phase 2
